Are you ready to try a completely new DIY project? This particular time, we will be dressing up mirrors in a fun along with creative way! One of my favorite Inner surface design tricks will be decorating with mirrors. They are not only stylish, they are very functional– they reflect light, creating each little corner of a room feel brighter along with lighter. In fact, I believe which the more mirrors we have at home, the better! How many have do you have?
Recently, I have actually been into round mirrors in all the possible sizes along with forms, so I decided to create a special one for my space, adding a bit of geometrical edge along with colour. Whether the item’s displayed by hanging or standing, the mirror adds a great decorative element to a plain corner, don’t you think? See the tutorial below for details on how I made the item:
Here’s what you will need:
- tiny, round mirror (I used a table centerpiece mirror just for This particular project)
- Painter’s tape
- Spray paint in two colors. I used black along with pink because I think This particular combination looks great, however you can get creative with your own colour combination — just make sure the colors match your space!
Before you start, make sure your mirror will be clean along with dust-free. Place a piece of painter’s tape across the surface, marking off a section which will be about about one-third of the mirror. Cover the rest of the mirror’s surface with paper to make sure which you don’t get paint on the item.
Spray paint the section with black. You might need to spray two coats to get a actually smooth along with neat finish. Wait for the paint to dry completely between coats.
Gently remove the painter’s tape. Place another piece of tape across the adjacent side of the mirror, at roughly a 0 degree angle by the black section you just painted. Cover the remaining surface with paper along with spray paint the section with your second colour — I used pink. Wait for the paint to dry completely along with again remove the tape.
Ta daaa! How do you like the final result? I’m a little bit in love with the item.

Have a great day!
