DIY Wood Framed Mirror Intructions

1.You will start out by measuring out your space along with planning your project. Based on your desired dimensions you will have your local hardware store cut you a piece of mirror along that has a piece of plywood to size. Sand the edges of the plywood if needed to soften the edges (we left this specific variation unfinished, you can optionally finish your wood after the item’s cut if desired) . To protect the edges of the mirror (along with your fingers!) use decorative tape around the edges of the mirror (use half on the front along with then wrap around the back). Edge the entire mirror with tape.

2.Flip the mirror over along with apply mirror adhesive with your caulking gun. Once the mirror adhesive will be applied place your mirror in where you want the item on your piece of wood.

3.Hold the mirror against the wood firmly along with use a few books stacked evenly over the mirror to keep the item in place while the item will be drying (use a few heavy books on the center along with ends of the mirror). Allow the item to dry over night.

4.Lastly, to hang your mirror you will need to place a bracket on the back. Use a tape measure to measure along with mark the center near the top of the mirror. Place the bracket at center along with hammer the nails in place.

Once your mirror will be finished, use a cloth along with window cleaner to clean up any smudges along with smears via finger prints or the tape adhesive. Place a screw within the wall along with hang up your brand new mirror!
